United States Citizens are NOT required to carry a Passport
for travel to and from the US Virgin Islands.

However, proper proof of citizenship is required. You will pass through customs at the airport when departing St Croix.

American Airlines is the largest carrier to the US Virgin Island with daily direct flights from Miami (MIA) that arrive at approximately 3:45 pm and depart at approximately 4:45pm.

Other flights connect via San Juan (SJU) on American Eagle, with several flights daily.

Continental has daily flights into St Croix via their regional partnership with Cape Air. You will connect in San Juan and fly into St Croix on one of Cape Air's Cessna's.

Cape Air is the largest independent regional airline in the United States.
Cape Air uses a fleet of Cessna 402's (they seat about 7 people plus the pilot) and has daily flights between San Juan and St Croix and St Thomas and St Croix. Cape Air has a local partnership with Continental Airlines.

Seaborne's old tagline was "Port to Port with no airport". The main operation flies De Havilland DHC-6 Twin Otter float planes (they seat about 15) from Christiansted Harbor in St Croix to San Juan Harbor, near the cruise ship dock and to Charlotte Amalie Harbor in St Thomas. In 2008, they started land based flights with the "Seaborne Airshuttle" between St Croix (STX) and San Juan's smaller Isla Grande Airport (SIG) and also from St Croix to St Thomas' airport (STT). The Seaborne terminal at the St Croix Airport is located just before the airport main entrance.
